The REACH Community

Students: REACH annually enrolls approximately 120 students in the 6th, 7th and 8th grades living throughout New York City: 14% in Brooklyn, 28% in the Bronx, 15% in Manhattan, 29% in Queens, and 1% from Staten Island and southern Westchester.  In 64% of current REACH families, both parents were born outside the United States. In 88% of REACH families, at least one parent was born outside the U.S. REACH families represent more than 30 different countries across Latin America, the Caribbean, Asia, Africa and Europe.

Partner Schools: REACH serves students from more than 80 different grammar schools in New York City.  68% percent of REACH students attend Catholic schools while the remaining 32% of students attend public schools.  REACH looks forward to increasing its number of partner schools as the program contiues to grow.

REACH hires a team of faculty and staff for each of its academic sessions.  REACH faculty and staff know what it takes to gain admission to and succeed at Regis and other top Catholic high schools. They include Regis faculty, Regis alumni, teachers from other schools with experience educating gifted students and current Regis students and REACH alumni—all of whom are committed to educating, caring for, motivating, and inspiring each REACH student.
