Position
As a Communications Coordinator, you will have the extraordinary opportunity to work with approximately 530 exceptional young men, talented faculty, and dedicated staff. Located in New York City, Regis High School is a Catholic, Jesuit, college preparatory school and the only full-scholarship Jesuit high school in the country. The school was founded in 1914 through the extraordinary generosity of an anonymous woman and her family. Regis now thrives on the philanthropy of alumni, parents, and friends as its most significant source of financial support. Position Summary
The Communications Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies for the Office of Advancement at Regis High School. The Communications Coordinator will work closely with the Advancement team and other Regis staff on communications that support the school’s mission and goals. The successful candidate will have creative skills in graphic design and/or video editing, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to work collaboratively.

Regis seeks a qualified candidate to join its faculty as a Communications Coordinator. This is a full-time staff position. Work hours may vary and will include some evenings and weekends for special school events. The Communications Coordinator will report to the Director of Communications and Engagement.
Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement communications that support the school's mission and goals
  • Meet the graphic-design and/or video needs of the school
  • Collaborate with the Admissions team to communicate effectively with prospective students and families
  • Help plan and execute digital communications campaigns
  • Develop and distribute e-newsletters and other electronic communication
  • Create and manage content for the school's website, social media accounts, and other communication channels
  • Assist the Advancement team in organizing and staging events, including some on nights and weekends
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies and adjust plans accordingly
  • Supports and is willing to advance the Catholic and Jesuit mission of the school
  • Works in collaboration with the administration in observing the principles and ideals for which Regis High School stands
  • Any other assigned tasks
Qualifications & Skills
  • 2+ years of experience in communications, graphic design, video editing, or marketing, preferably in a non-profit setting
  • Proficiency in graphic-design and/or video-editing software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Understanding of non-profit organizations and their communication needs
  • Experience with digital marketing and social media platforms is a plus
Education
A bachelor’s degree is required.
Status
This is a full-time position.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range $60-75k, commensurate with years of experience and level of success in the institutional advancement area.

Most benefits go into effect immediately. Participation in the 403 (b) occurs after one year of employment.
Other expectations
A willingness to work at times outside the normal school day and school year, including weekend events.
