Regis Holds Third Annual REACH Appreciation Day

For the past 18 years, the REACH Program at Regis High School has empowered high-achieving Catholic middle school boys with significant financial need and from underrepresented communities to earn scholarships to top Catholic high schools in New York City. As we neared the end of this unprecedented summer, we celebrated our REACH students who successfully have navigated a fully remote, synchronous six-week summer program, REACH @ Zoom.

On Wednesday, August 12, we invited the Regis community to take an inside look at the important work our students have accomplished during REACH @ Zoom - despite the challenges - and to support REACH by making a gift online or through Venmo. As an entirely tuition-free program, REACH can only continue to achieve its important mission thanks to your generosity.

Make a Gift to REACH

Throughout the day, Regis shared stories and information about REACH on its social media channels. If you weren't able to follow along, you can review the posts on our Instagram and Twitter accounts. Some of the videos and articles that we shared are also posted below:

REACH Appreciation Day 2020 Panel

A group of current REACH students, alumni, and staff participated in a panel this week to discuss REACH @ Zoom and their experiences with the program more broadly. Moderated by Mr. Alan Garcia ’08, REACH Dean of Student Recruiting and Admissions, the conversation offers a firsthand account of this life-changing program. You can watch it in full below:

REACH Highlighted on the Tonight Show

During his appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon last month, Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost ’00 spoke passionately about the REACH Program:

A Conversation With Doug Eickman '05
