A few weeks prior to graduation, the class of 2018 gathered one last time in the cafeteria for a senior luncheon and assembly. Jon Sciambi ’88 served as the event’s guest speaker. He spoke to seniors about life after Regis and the importance of continuing to live a life of service to others. In June, Sciambi—an ESPN broadcaster who Sports Illustrated recently described as “one of baseball’s most beloved commentators”—helped gather some of the biggest names in baseball to raise awareness and support for ALS. The Fourth Annual Tim Sheehy Softball Classic raised funds to help improve the quality of life for individuals living with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), commonly referred to as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
