Alumni and friends teed up on Monday, September 25 for the annual Regis Golf & Tennis Outing at the Whipporwill Club in Armonk, New York. Typically held in June, rainy weather forced this year's outing to September, where the change of season did not disappoint. Along with a small contingent of tennis players, guests were treated to fantastic weather for this annual tradition.
The outing followed a shamble format: after each player hit a tee shot, the best drive was determined, and each golfer played their own ball from that spot. The best individual score on each hole was recorded for each team.
While there was no hole-in-one contest winner, many participants walked away with great raffle prizes, which included a food and wine tour of New York City and various gift cards to local businesses. Congratulations to John Morrison '95 for winning “longest drive".
Regis offers sincere thanks to all event sponsors, contributors to the evening raffle, and for the heartfelt support of the day's participants. For those planning ahead, please save the date of June 18, 2018 for next year's outing.
