REACH Mission
REACH, through a transformative middle school program, empowers high-achieving young men from underserved communities as Catholic leaders committed to faith, scholarship, and service.

A summer and Saturday access program run through Regis High School, REACH serves students whose families demonstrate significant financial need. REACH serves ~150 students each year from the 6th to 8th grade. Over 90% of graduates attend a Jesuit high school with significant scholarship.
Available Positions & Position Description
6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th Grade ELA Teachers
6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th Grade Math Teachers
9th Grade Biology Teacher

Summer teachers will support our program’s mission as a classroom leader and role model, unlocking the potential within our students as intellectual leaders and young men for others.

Each of the above courses has two sections with class sizes ranging from 10-25 students. A curriculum with resources is provided along with a Teacher’s Assistant during each class period.
Compensation, Dates, and Details
  • Faculty and staff receive a stipend of $6,000 for the summer, with bonuses for experience.
  • The 2024 REACH Summer Session will run from July 6 to August 18.
  • 6th grade faculty will commute to Fordham University (Rose Hill) to teach their classes from July 6 to July 26. Three weeks of classes at Regis will follow from July 29 to August 18.
  • For 6th grade faculty, lunch is provided daily in the Fordham U. dining hall (7/6 - 7/26).
  • 7th , 8th , and 9th grade students and faculty will live away at the University of Scranton from July 6 to 26. Three weeks of classes at Regis will follow from July 29 to August 18.
  • For the 7th, 8th, and 9th grade positions, faculty are provided with comfortable housing in university apartments at the University of Scranton and three meals per day in the university dining hall. Faculty are asked to remain on campus for one of the three Scranton weekends.
