“The Eucharist is the source and summit of Christian life.” (Lumen Gentium) 

As a Catholic and Jesuit school that hopes to form young men for God and others, celebrating the Eucharist is a part of daily life at Regis. During the school day, students have an opportunity to gather in the Chapel to celebrate Eucharist together during the community period. Through the liturgical life at our school, we celebrate Christ, our Christian faith, and the community we share at Regis. In addition to weekday masses, Regis celebrates school-wide liturgies, in which all students, faculty and staff gather to participate in the life of the Church. 

Students lend their gifts to liturgies by serving in liturgical ministry roles such as altar serving, lectoring, ministering the Eucharist, and music ministry. Through this invitation to our students, Regis hopes to establish a strong foundation of spiritual and religious understanding through a consistent practice of prayer and reflection in the Eucharist.

Jogues Society 

The Jogues society named after Jesuit martyr Fr. Isaac Jogues, is Regis’s liturgical leadership group. Students serve at all school-wide and daily masses. Jogues society is open to training any students interested in serving as Acolytes, Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors, Sacristans, or Ushers. The group hopes to encourage more students to be drawn to liturgical life and to service with humility and zeal.
