Students attend both the REACH Summer Program and the REACH Saturday Program in their 6th, 7th, and 8th grade years. The six-week summer program is divided into two three-week sessions. Candidate Residential Experience at Fordham As part of the admissions process, all candidates are invited to begin their REACH journey with a three-week academic overnight program at Fordham University in the Bronx, NY. This experience is designed to introduce students and their families to the accelerated REACH academic and leadership program, all in the spirit of meeting new friends with similar interests and abilities. Full Member Residential Experience at Scranton Upon successful completion of their candidate summer and first year in the program, students are invited to continue the REACH journey at the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania. Camp REACH is designed to further challenge students and their families by focusing on developing the skills necessary to apply to selective high schools. Both the 2nd and 3rd summer take place at Scranton. REACH at Regis As the second portion of the summer session, all REACH candidates, 2nd year and 3rd year students come together for the final three weeks of the summer program at Regis High School. The REACH at Regis session runs Monday – Friday, from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. REACH Saturdays During the academic school year, all REACH members attend classes on 10 Saturdays in the fall and 10 Saturdays in the spring. Our Saturday sessions run from 9 am – 2:30 pm. |
