"Lord, teach me to be generous.
Teach me to serve you as you deserve;
to give and not to count the cost,
to fight and not to heed the wounds,
to toil and not to seek for rest,
to labor and not to ask for reward,
save that of knowing that I do your will."
--St Ignatius Loyola

1914 | The Centennial Celebration | 2014 Welcome to the Centennial website—Regis High School's digital archive of the year-long hundredth anniversary celebration that took place from January 2014 through December 2014.
The historic Regis High School building on New York's Upper East Side and the school's enviable history of service and achievement of generations of graduates originated in the imagination of one widow whose parish was across the street and whose pastor championed the idea of free Jesuit education. She, and later her daughters and son, gave shape to and fully supported this unique American Catholic educational experiment for half a century. After their passing, our alumni and friends have continued their annual and special giving that allows Regis to remain the only all-scholarship Catholic school in the United States. This online archive honors that history.
