Regians March for Life

12 Regians join tens of thousands of Americans from all over the country in Washington, D.C. on January 19 for the March for Life. At this annual event, marchers bear witness to life on behalf of those too small and vulnerable to do so for themselves, reminding us that the right to life is the foundation of justice.

This January, the Society of Jesus in the U.S. published Protecting the Least Among Us: A Statement of the Society of Jesus in the United States on Abortion, which asks Jesuits and their collaborators to continue to stand in solidarity with the unborn and with mothers in difficult situations. The statement, which can be read in full at jesuits.org, reiterates the Jesuits’ support for the unborn, calling abortion “part of the massive injustices in our society.”
