Kyle Mullins '05 Named Dean of Students
Kyle_MullinsRegis High School has announced the appointment of Mr. Kyle Mullins '05 as Dean of Students for the upcoming academic year. Mr. Mullins moves to this position from the dual role of Dean of Language Arts for the REACH Program and faculty member in the English Department at Regis. He replaces Mr. Brad Serton, who left Regis at the end of this past academic year to become the Director of Admissions at Fordham Preparatory.

Mr. Mullins earned his undergraduate degree from Le Moyne College (Syracuse, NY) in 2009. He first returned to Regis that fall to serve a one-year term as part of the Regis Alumni Mentor Program. He then earned his masters in English from Boston College. In 2012, he returned to Regis again, where he has taught freshman English courses and various senior English electives. The last two summers he has also helped direct the REACH Summer Program at Scranton University and at Regis.

A popular teacher, counselor, and administrator in the REACH program, Kyle is also a well-respected faculty member in and outside the classroom. In addition to his Regis classes, he has served as a faculty chaperone on student retreats and Christian service trips. He has also served as the Varsity Soccer Head Coach and the Assistant Athletics Director.

After an extensive search, Dr. Gary Tocchet, Principal of Regis High School, believes that Mr. Mullins is the right fit for the job. "Among his many other leadership qualities," said Dr. Tocchet, "Kyle bring his impressive organizational abilities, his rapport with students and parents, and his selfless commitment to the Regis mission to this demanding administrator position."
