Eight Regians Receive First Communion at Easter Liturgy

Eight Regians received their First Holy Communion today as the school community gathered for a liturgy at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola to celebrate the Easter season. With their families in attendance, Adam Faughnan ’27, Caleb Garutti ’26, Connor Garutti ’27, Simon Kletter ’27, Eamon Prus-Shearer ’27, Evan Rosado ’26, Milo Scruto ’27, and Andrew Watson ’26 each received the body of Christ for the first time.

“This is a monumental occasion,” said Regis President Rev. Christopher Devron, SJ, who celebrated the Mass. “Every time you receive Holy Communion, you are also receiving a little bit of God’s love for us.”

The Mass also featured student lectors, Eucharistic ministers, and ushers, as well as liturgical music from a group of 15 students.
